Chocolate SunButter Donuts – Gluten Free and Dairy Free

Soooo, this happened last night (and this morning) and omg they are sooooo ooey gooey gooooood! Chocolate glass SunButter Donuts!

WARNING: These are a TREAT, not a fat loss recipe, and you must be ready to share, otherwise you will eat them all !!

The best part is that they are much healthier than commercial donuts. They are not fried, dairy-free and gluten-free (companions to celiac disease!)

2 cups selected gluten free flour
3/4 cups coconut sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt.

For wet ingredients:
3/4 cup almond milk
1/2 cup mashed banana
2 tablespoons sun butter
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup raw cocoa nibs.

For chocolate glaze:
1 cup icing sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons almond milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For making donuts (be excited !!)
1. Preheat your oven to 350 ° F. Lightly grease a donut pan.
2. Whisk together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
3. In a medium bowl, mix all the wet ingredients together. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined, finally adding the chocolate chips.
4. Whisk the dough into a large zippered bag and cut off the corner of the bag. Place the dough in the donut pan, distribute it evenly between the 12 donut wells.
5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the donuts have become fluffy and golden. Remove from the oven and cool for 5 minutes, then invert the donuts so that the bottoms are let out of the steam.

To make chocolate glaze:
1. Add all ingredients to the bowl and mix well. If the glaze is 1 teaspoon of almond milk at a time, a bit too thick to achieve the desired consistency.
2. Dip the donuts in the glaze and carefully lift the donuts out again. The heating is done as you rest.
