I've had the first smelly frost of the season so yep, October is definitely here. Time to fill out your fall diary with some of London's best sports events of October, including Halloween dance training on fire, free Hotpot yoga classes, and some free puzzles with Salomon.

Calling all trail lovers. If you like my calves in the mud and the views are epic, this month Salomon has some guided landscapes that are right on the path to your grass. Throughout the UK, their hosts run a free 'Run for the Unexpected'.

You can expect the presence of Salomon ambassadors, the unexpected really. You will probably also find some fun outdoor activities along the way that will maximize the nature's gym, as well as a running track and tips. We are interested. During this hour of worship, you turn off your phones and head to nature's meditations and breaths to help you be present and capable. Don't just post this about Insta, right?

Jack the Ripper Running Tour

If you like running scary, you will love this group trip to Secret London Runs. Walking through the back alleys of Whitechapel, you will learn all about the tragic events of 1888 as you explore Jack Ripper's stumble.

The tour covers about 10km and there are many historical stops along the way. Different time groups are available. But do you know the true identity of the ripper?

London Halloween 5k and 10k

We did it last year, but it dropped a few days after Halloween, so there was less fancy dress than we would have liked. This year, it will be an all-fairy night, though hopefully pumpkins, zombies, witches and goggles will run around the Olympic Park. A very cool Halloween themed medal too.
