Use Move It on Monday Keep your training resolutions in good working order for a long time

A lot of effort has been spent making New Year's resolution, but we rarely approach it keeping with the same vigor and enthusiasm.

It's easy to catch idea before developing a suitable plan for its implementation. Long-term goals, especially those related to physical health and well-being, require preparation, and while a formal commitment to change is a good place to start, you need a detailed action plan to help you get to your destination.

When it comes to fitness, it all starts with a different starting point, but regardless of your current activity level, you can use Monday as an opportunity to prepare for the coming year and keep up to date.

Choose a specific goal

Achieving your goal is much more likely than not to be specific. Be creative and make it available. Maybe it's a goal walking one mile every Monday by January or by moving upstairs to the second floor. You can always extend your goal by another month, but each "win" will only motivate you more.

Start small

Know that the first few weeks of training are going to be tough, but you don't have to work hard to get tired. Don't dive straight into the primary camp or the extreme Zumba class; plan to start small and work on my own. You will be amazed at how much you can do with your commitment.

Create a network

If you are planning your resolution with a friend or coworker, you are more likely to stick with them. The support net can hold you down and bring you back with your right foot.

Make it a party

Hey, you don't need a book club and a bottle of Chardonnay for a good time. Plan one of our social events around realizing an idea or working towards a goal. It can be just as much fun (and maybe it is also time for a glass of wine).

Resubmit on Monday

Planning a day to dedicate yourself to your resolution is as important as starting it. Use Move on Mondays day to grind again. That way you'll never be too far behind.
